Weekly WOD August 24 To August 30, 2026

Warlock Summer Social 2026 was a hit!
Thank you to everyone who came out, brought your families, invited friends and helped make it such a fun night. Getting together outside the gym is always one of the best parts of what we do and I’m grateful for our community being able to come together and enjoy a night out . Big thanks as well to Four Brothers Drive-In for hosting us.

This week has a little bit of everything and every day has a different purpose.

Monday starts with a primer and some quality snatch work before we build heavy. The goal is to move well, stay patient and make every rep look the same.

Tuesday is all about intervals. You’ll have three-minute windows with running, gymnastics and front squats. Push hard, recover, and then do it again.

Wednesday is a midline grind with deadlifts on the front end plus rowing, sit-ups and box jump overs in the workout of the day. The volume will add up, so stay steady and keep moving.

Thursday is speed day. Light power cleans to start, then a farmers carry into 10 rounds of burpees and hang power cleans. Move the bar fast and keep the transitions tight.

Friday is our benchmark. Two rounds of double-unders, air squats and alternating dumbbell snatches. Simple on paper, not so simple once the volume starts stacking up. PS, save something for the DB Snatches and the Double Unders.

Saturday is another heavy day with front squats before a short, aggressive 21-15-9 of thrusters and high ring dips. RX Athletes will get to do a muscle up into their first ring dip.

Sunday wraps the week with posterior-chain strength and a partner workout with shuttle runs, bike calories and toes-to-bar.

Like always, the goal is not just to do the hardest version. Pick the version that best matches your current ability, gives you the intended stimulus and moves you closer to your goals. If you want to set up a goal review just shoot me an email e@WarlockAthletics.com or chat with a coach.

Have a great week! Lock in and let’s get after it.
